In 1993 Susan obtained the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), a designation held by less than 10% of licensed insurance agents in America. The Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) Program has been the insurance industry's premier, proven source for practical, real-world education since 1969. The coveted Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation signifies a higher professional level of experience and competence. Susan served as the President of the South Dakota Independent Insurance Association in 2003 and has been involved in the Rapid City Independent Insurance Association, also serving as President in 2004. She is currently on the Rapid City Regional Hospital Advisory Council. Susan is very active in the community and enjoys working with Junior Achievement, Kid's Fair, and YFS Dinner Theater. She enjoys playing the piano, traveling, and spending time with her family.
